What you will be doing:
Edit and publish programmatic content, upholding Podium’s brand and editorial standards
Work closely with Content and Growth teams develop AI prompts and research topics for content creation
Author original content for Podium.com—including articles, SEO pillars, and gated content
Assist with content and SEO performance tracking
Participate in meetings with channel marketers, growth teams, and agency partners
Help out with other projects and initiatives as assigned
What you should have:
Availability to work part-time 20-30 hours/week
Availability between May-August
Excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication skills
Excellent people skills to interact with colleagues, cross-functional teams, and third parties
Driven, detail-oriented, and thorough
Ability to represent the company in a professional manner
A problem-solver attitude
Interest in understanding and using tools like ChatGPT
Ability to meet your deadlines and overcome obstacles
Understanding of content creation, editorial calendars, and SEO

The Communications/Marketing Intern is a Summer internship position working under the direction of the Public Information Officer. This position is designed to provide interns with experiential learning opportunities to develop professional-level skills in communications, public relations, marketing, and community outreach in a local government setting.
