For the Strength of Youth Conferences: Communications Full-Time Intern


The For the Strength of Youth Conferences: Communications Full-time Intern is an integral part of the FSY team. You will be part of a team that serves some 260,000 youth and young single adults around the world every year. There are four internships available at this time, one each focused on communications, technology, training, and curriculum. The primary focus of this internship will be on communications, including but not limited to emails, social media posts, websites, and videos.

The internship is in the Priesthood and Family Department. It will be 40 hours a week beginning March 10, 2025, and will run for one year. This position requires in person work at the Church Office Building in Salt Lake City. Hybrid options may be available, depending on arrangements made with hiring staff at the time of hire.

Responsibilities

The For the Strength of Youth Conferences Full-time Communications Intern is an integral part of the FSY team in the Priesthood and Family Department. You will be part of a team that serves some 260,000 youth and young single adults around the world every year. This internship will include but not be limited to:

  • Writing and editing communications in collaboration with the broader team
  • Shepherding communications through the approval process
  • Brainstorming ways to utilize communication platforms most accessible to FSY audiences
  • Developing communications plans

Paid Intern: For the Strength of Youth Conferences Curriculum

The For the Strength of Youth Conferences: Curriculum Full-time Intern is an integral part of the FSY team. You will be part of a team that serves some 250,000 youth and young single adults around the world every year. There are four internships available at this time, one each focused on communications, technology, training, and curriculum. The primary focus of this internship will be on developing and evaluating curriculum which includes class and devotional outlines, as well as other activities held at FSY conferences.

The internship is in the Priesthood and Family Department. It will be 40 hours a week beginning March 10, 2025, and will run for one year. This position requires in person work at the Church Office Building in Salt Lake City, Utah. Hybrid options may be available, depending on arrangements made with hiring staff at the time of hire.

Responsibilities
The For the Strength of Youth Conferences Full-time Curriculum Intern is an integral part of the FSY team in the Priesthood and Family Department. You will be part of a team that serves some 250,000 youth and young single adults around the world every year. This internship will include, but not be limited to, the following responsibilities:

  • Lead one or more pilot efforts by collaborating with pilot creators and the FSY team to evaluate and improve future offerings.
  • Create/edit rubrics to measure curriculum pilot success and/or for observation of pilots.
  • Gather information from international ecclesiastical areas about pilots and curriculum created in-area. Work with FSY team to consider global or international implementation of in-area created curriculum.
  • Collaborate with various Church workforce departments (Missionary, Family History, Welfare and Self Reliance, and so on.) to create curriculum for FSY conferences around the world. 
  • Provide ideas, innovation and editing of global FSY handbooks to be used by youth and young single adult staff.
  • Participate in FSY handbook committee and fulfill assignments given.
