Content Creation/Marketing Internship (Czech Republic)

We are looking for a Content Creator to write and publish various types of pieces for Cumorah Academy’s web pages, like articles, eBooks, social media posts, and any other printed material.

Content Creator responsibilities include producing marketing copy to advertise the organization, projects, campaigns, institutional materials, writing blog posts about industry-related topics and promoting our content on social media. To be successful in this role, you should have experience with printed and digital publishing in order to, together with the marketing team, social media, and paid advertisement specialists, generate successful results.

Ultimately, you will help us reach our target audience by delivering both useful and appealing online and printed information about Cumorah Academy and our services.

Our primary objective is:

  • Maximize audience engagement with marketing content
  • Share insights on competitor marketing content
  • Develop Cumorah Academy’s marketing and branding presence throughout all channels
  • Encourage collaboration to unify marketing output
  • Improve Cumorah Academy’s search engine optimization (SEO) presence
  • Widen Cumorah Academy’s marketing reach

Responsibilities, Requirements, and Skills 

  • Research industry-related topics
  • Prepare well-structured drafts using digital publishing platforms
  • Create and distribute marketing copy to advertise our organization and services
  • Interview professionals in our field and important stakeholders to incorporate their views in blog posts and other materials
  • Research market trends and developments relevant to campaign subject matter
  • Take the time to understand specifications and work closely with our art and marketing team to develop the concept of the job/campaign/project
  • Coordinate with marketing and design teams to illustrate articles
  • Edit and proofread written pieces before publication
  • Conduct keyword research with the Paid Advertisement Specialist and use SEO guidelines to optimize content
  • Identify audiences’ needs and recommend new topics
  • Update our websites and materials as needed
  • Confident written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Communication skills: to be able to clarify the understanding of tasks and projects and to report their status of execution, to be open to learn, and to receive feedback
  • Ability to work effectively without oversight
  • Superb organizational and time-management abilities
  • Professional and friendly teamwork
  • Proven work experience as a Content Creator, Copywriter, or similar role
  • Portfolio of published articles
  • Excellent writing and editing skills in English
  • An ability to fact-check long-form content pieces
  • Time-management skills
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace
  • Comprehensive understanding of impactful marketing tactics
  • Familiarity with SEO
  • Currently enrolled in Marketing, English, Journalism courses or similar / experience in the area
