Student Writer (130269): The creative services department in BYU Broadcasting has an opening for a student writer. The writer will assist the creative manager-copy in performing a wide array of writing duties, including (but not limited to): copywriting, SEO/metadata, show descriptions, episode descriptions, social media copy, ideation, and research. Non-writing duties may include assisting audience loading and/or general support for BYU Football with Kalani Sitake, BYU Basketball with Mark Pope, Studio C, and BYU Sports Nation GameDay (Football pre-game show).
Sports Marketing Assistant (130230, 130238): BYUtv has a number of sports programming shows. Wo ing assistant will work hands-on with BYU Sports Nation's social media platforms to promote shows, stories, and create other social content. Our marketing assistants learn strategies for discovering audience psychographics, staying up to date on organic social tactics, transactional marketing, and so much more. BYUtv Content Team Assistant (130016): BYUtv is a fast-paced production environment and requires being able to manage several projects and responsibilities at once. The Content Assistants coordinate the logistical aspects for BYUtv's creative producers' team by organizing materials, scheduling meetings, preparing any necessary items requested by the producers, completing travel and expense reports, and communicating clearly with all parties. Content Assistants should have a strong grasp of storytelling and be prepared to tactfully give feedback on creative materials produced in the development and production of BYUtv programming.
Marketing Manager (130045): Each of BYUtv's Marketing Managers are assigned a number of shows/properties within the network's programming. They are responsible for coordinating and executing the complete marketing strategy for the assigned shows. The purpose of this assistant role is to serve alongside one of BYUtv's Marketing Managers to assist and collaborate on the marketing efforts for the assigned shows. This position will gain experience across all aspects of marketing ranging from social media management and digital ads to analytics and content strategy. If it's part of marketing, you'll probably get a chance to do it. This job is 20 hours per week.
Podcast Production Assistant (129954): The Podcast Production Assistant works with a team of producers to create weekly documentary-style podcast episodes for Top of Mind, a high-profile BYUradio podcast.
