Content Writing Internship: Daybreak Cacao (remote)

Daybreak Cacoa is a new company passionate about helping others break away from the daily grind and live life to the fullest-- coffee-free! Our product is a healthy and tasty coffee alternative made with cacao. Our beverage helps others win the day without high amounts of caffeine, jitters, or crashes. We are looking for someone scrappy, motivated, and excited to help us develop and write content that inspires and educates our audience!

POSITION PURPOSE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The content writing intern will assist the marketing managers with content writing for our blog, copywriting, and editing in a fun and non-stressful environment! The position is flexible and adaptable to the intern's interests. We want this to be a positive learning experience for the intern and will be open to his or her involvement in other areas that are of interest if applicable.

1. Marketing and Communications

  • Write and develop high-quality and SEO-friendly articles and marketing content.
  • Edit articles and other marketing content.
  • Research trending nutrition and lifestyle topics that support content for the blog. 
  • Write and edit copy for different social and digital platforms based on best practices.
  • Other duties as agreed

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Certification:

High school diploma or equivalent required; some college education.

English/writing/journalism/marketing major preferred but all majors are welcome to apply.

Skills/Abilities:

Strong oral and written communication abilities.

Team player

Job Type: Part-Time

Start Date: Flexible

Pay: This is an unpaid internship.

Location: Remote, weekly meeting through Zoom, daily communication through Slack
