In Good Faith is an interfaith podcast that celebrates and promotes spiritual experiences from faith communities around the world. Student producers research guests, conduct pre-interview, prepare material for host, write scripts, arrange for recording narration, edit audio files, and otherwise participate in the production of daily and weekly radio programming heard on the air, on the web, on SiriusXM 143 nationally, and in podcasts.

Interns will:
• Work independently and as a team member in creating original content programming.
• Produce content for web, broadcast, and podcast platforms.
• Communicate clearly and professionally to ensure quality production of show content.
• Assist in calendaring and promotion of programs.
• While being hired for a specific production need, the needs of BYUradio may change and there may be other opportunities for other types of production.
Skills and Qualifications
Technical:
• Strong research and writing skills are crucial to this position.
• Applicant must master recording and editing audio in Adobe Audition; recording audio and voice tracks in Wide Orbit; engineering and mixing on Axia control room board. Other software programs like Trello, Microsoft Office, and Slack are in constant use. Training will be provided.
Time Management:
• Applicant must coordinate school and work schedules to fill a regular shift to meet daily and weekly broadcast deadlines.
Interpersonal:
• Applicant should have a developed sense of public presentation, excellent English language usage, and a keen eye and ear for detail.
• Applicant must communicate clearly and consistently with producers, guests, host, and other team members in a timely manner.
• Maintain an atmosphere on air and off air that is conducive to the missions, goals, and standards of Brigham Young University.
Students with background knowledge in world religions, philosophy, history, or literatures preferred.
