Public Relations Specialist: Provide social media support for the Ballard Center in the Tanner Building. Update website content, write weekly newsletters/emails to subscribers, write Ballard Center articles, assist with Annual Report, and run Ballard Story competition. Collaborate in writing press releases, act as PR liaison with External Relations, participate in brief class presentations, and help maintain a consistent branding for the center. Please keep in mind that approximately 10% of your time will be spent on Ballard Center general assignments such as trainings, Ballard Center staff meetings, distributing program quality surveys, marketing TEDxBYU, etc.

W. W. Norton & Company’s 12-week internship program is designed to introduce motivated college students and recent graduates to publishing and to Norton. Internships provide valuable hands-on experience with the day-to-day business of bookmaking, as well as opportunities to network with employees at the company and with fellow interns who frequently go on to become colleagues in the field.
An intern is needed to help support full-time editors in their work of handling and maintaining English scripture files. The intern will assist with writing and editing study helps for a scriptures-related app. The intern will also help mark up scripture source files and help develop computer-based workflow and quality checks for scriptures in all languages. Other assignments related to scriptures and general conference document files are likely.
