In Summer 2020 I worked with BYU Radio—The Apple Seed specifically—as an assistant producer. I wrote scripts and otherwise helped produce episodes and scheduling for the show.
Talk briefly about the major takeaways from your internship experience.
I learned that it is important to cultivate professional relationships as well as work to be clear in communication. Working with supervisors is much easier than working under them.

I would recommend my internship for people looking to get genuine experience within the radio/professional script writing sphere. As an intern it is important to ask questions and be willing to learn from your mistakes as you will make them.
