Y Magazine—BYU’s quarterly publication for alumni, students, and friends of the university—offers paid editorial internships for students who are creative, teachable, hard working, dependable, and committed to working as entry-level journalists. Interns at Y Magazine get published, work in a professional atmosphere, and get experience in writing, editing, research, web publishing, social media, and some of the backend, business aspects of putting out a magazine. It’s a varied and fun opportunity.
Internship openings are available immediately. Generally, we prefer our interns to stay at least two semesters (or a semester and two terms).
