We are looking for a creative and motivated Marketing & Public Relations Intern to help build the CareBridge Connect brand and increase awareness within the healthcare industry. This is a hands-on opportunity to help develop the marketing strategy of an early-stage healthcare technology company. You will work directly with the founding team on public relations, content creation, email marketing, LinkedIn growth, digital advertising, SEO, and community events.
Rather than focusing on just one area of marketing, you will gain experience across several channels and have the opportunity to test creative ideas, measure results, and help determine how CareBridge markets itself as the company grows.

About CareBridge ConnectCareBridge Connect is a healthcare technology startup working to improve communication between skilled nursing facilities and the families they serve.
Our platform integrates with existing healthcare documentation systems and transforms approved care information into simple, family-friendly updates. Our goal is to give families greater peace of mind while helping healthcare facilities improve communication, family satisfaction, and the overall experience they provide.
This role is especially well suited for students interested in marketing, public relations, communications, healthcare, entrepreneurship, advertising, or digital media.
What You'll Do
Public Relations & Publicity
- Identify newspapers, magazines, healthcare publications, university publications, podcasts, newsletters, and other media opportunities where CareBridge could be featured
- Help develop interesting story angles around healthcare communication, family experience, entrepreneurship, and CareBridge's company journey
- Write articles, press releases, company announcements, and media pitches
- Build relationships with journalists, editors, publications, and healthcare media organizations
- Look for creative opportunities to increase awareness and credibility for CareBridge
Email Marketing
- Help build and organize CareBridge's email and contact database
- Develop a strategy for consistently growing the company's email list
- Create weekly company progress updates and newsletters
- Share product developments, company milestones, educational content, events, and other updates
- Track email engagement and identify ways to improve open rates, clicks, and audience growth
LinkedIn & Social Media
- Create engaging LinkedIn posts about CareBridge, healthcare communication, company milestones, product development, and the startup journey
- Develop a consistent content calendar
- Help grow CareBridge's LinkedIn following through creative campaigns and initiatives
- Identify opportunities for the founders and company page to engage with healthcare leaders and organizations
- Experiment with different content formats and track which content performs best
- Help establish CareBridge as a recognizable voice within skilled nursing and post-acute healthcare
