United Way of Utah County is seeking a Fundraising Administrative Intern to support our Corporate Engagement team during the holidays. This is a great opportunity for a student or emerging professional looking to gain hands-on experience in nonprofit fundraising, donor engagement, and grant research.
Time Commitment & Location
- 10-20 hours per week (flexible schedule).
- Hourly rate: $15
- Must be able to work in person at our Provo office during business hours (M–F, 8 AM–5 PM).
- Occasional morning, evening or weekend events and meetings may be available for additional learning opportunities (optional).
- Internship duration: mid-October through mid-December
What You’ll Gain

Key Responsibilities
Provide administrative and research support to the Corporate Engagement Manager, including:
- Corporate and community volunteerism: Supporting corporate accounts with Sub for Santa service project logistics, including email communications, set up, project management, and project wrap up.
- Holiday giving coordination: Coordinating with corporate accounts whose main engagement is participating in Sub for Santa, United Way’s holiday giving program.
- Relationship management: Building/managing relationships with current and new companies wanting to be involved in Sub for Santa.
- New account research & development: researching information about companies who are participating in Sub for Santa for the first time to gauge fundraising potential.
- Donor database management: Updating and maintaining donor contact records in Salesforce CRM.
- Event coordination: Assisting with sending invitations to current and prospective donors.
- Storytelling & impact sharing: Gathering and organizing program impact stories and statistics for donor communications (in collaboration with the Marketing Team).
- Meeting preparation: Assembling materials for donor meetings and planning sessions.
- Fundraising documentation: Organizing key fundraising files in our new SharePoint system (transitioning from Google Drive).

- Detail-oriented, quick learner, and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Comfortable with technology and eager to learn new platforms like Salesforce and SharePoint.
