- Build lists of podcasts, blogs, radio, TV, newsletters, religious media, and conferences;
- Research review opportunities including review blogs, Goodreads groups, bookstagrammers, Christian/LDS reviewers, clean romance reviewers, and homeschool reviewers; organize by genre, submission guidelines, and cost
Events Strategy
- Help build an events booth kit and create an easy plan for event setup and takedown
Email & SMS Marketing
- Research best practices for email marketing, SMS marketing, lifecycle marketing, and ecommerce automation
- Review Cedar Fort's existing email flows and identify opportunities for improvement
- Write, organize, and build new email sequences, including welcome flows, abandoned cart flows, browse abandonment flows, post-purchase flows, winback flows, and topic-based nurture sequences
- Create customer journeys and campaigns based on book topics, categories, series, reader interests, and seasonal needs (e.g. scripture study, children's books, cookbooks, fiction, new releases)
- Incorporate SMS into Cedar Fort's broader marketing strategy in a thoughtful, customer-friendly way
- Analyze subject lines, open rates, click rates, conversion rates, unsubscribe rates, and other performance metrics, and make recommendations based on the data
- Assist with email copywriting, preview text, calls to action, and audience segmentation
- Document completed flows so future team members can understand and continue them
