Church Europe North Area Office Internships--Fall 2023

There are two great new internships with Church's Europe North Area Office (just outside LONDON) for Fall 2023. Internship funding available through the College of Humanities.

Humanitarian Service Projects Internship (London, UK; Fall Semester)

  • Hosted by the Europe North Area Office of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints
  • The Area oversees 18 European countries.
  • Potential tasks and activities for the intern:
    • Organizing database of charitable partners and community resources
    • Executive summaries and reports of projects
    • Project communication with internal/external contacts
    • Assist with department seminar preparation and logistics
  • Interns live in BYU housing (Central London, Notting Hill) in apartments with other interns
  • Hybrid internship (2 office days / 2 remote days)
  • Office is 20 miles outside London (1hr + commute / train travel reimbursed)
  • Circa 30 hours/week
  • Candidates in Junior/Senior years preferred, good academic performance
  • Strong interest in humanitarian work

HR/Pre-Law/Legal Internship (London, UK; Fall Semester)

  • Ideal for students interested in HR, technical/professional writing, or pursuing law school
  • Hosted by the Europe North Area Office of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints
  • The Area oversees 18 European countries.
  • Intern will receive hands-on experience working in international HR: employee policies, standards of conduct, employee communications, legal coordination, and more.
  • Interns live in BYU housing (Central London, Notting Hill) in apartments with other interns
  • Hybrid internship (2 office days / 2 remote days)
  • Office is 20 miles outside London (1hr + commute / train travel reimbursed)
  • Circa 30 hours/week
  • Candidates in Junior/Senior years preferred, good academic performance, interest in HR or pre-law/law.

Social Media Intern/Volunteer

We are looking for a well-organized, self-motivated, reliable and committed person to help with our social media accounts. As a social media intern or volunteer, you will focus on supporting UVR’s advocacy strategy and campaigns by researching relevant content and creating new content to publish to UVR's Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok accounts. You will work with a team responsible for image selection, caption and content writing, and some photography at UVR events. You will also be communicating to the public via answering DMs. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience working with a professional staff in an enthusiastic, community-based non-profit organization.

Fall 2024 Norton Publishing Internships (Paid, Remote Options)

W. W. Norton & Company’s 12-week internship program is designed to introduce motivated college students and recent graduates to publishing and to Norton. Internships provide valuable hands-on experience with the day-to-day business of bookmaking, as well as opportunities to network with employees at the company and with fellow interns who frequently go on to become colleagues in the field.

Legal Internship with Jacobsen Construction (Salt Lake)
