This internship will help you develop a deeper understanding of what it means to perform content marketing functions in a professional, B2B SaaS environment, while representing the market leader in HR technology for small- to medium-sized businesses.

CONTENT MARKETING INTERNSHIP

Interns will be able to pursue one of the following options:

Option 1: Organic Content Track

This track is great for those wanting to grow their writing, research, and content strategy skills by:

  • Assisting in web content creation, including blogs, how-to guides, glossary entries, etc.
  • Learning SEO best practices that help our content rank #1 in search results
  • Helping to optimize web content by crafting calls to action that drive conversions
  • Shadowing content strategy meetings and brainstorming activities 
  • Supporting senior colleagues' content projects, including conducting research, organizing data, uploading/publishing content pieces, etc.

Option 2: Brand Advertising Track

This track is great for those wanting to grow their brand messaging development and project management skills by:

  • Assisting in content auditing, including compiling data and analyzing results
  • Developing writing skills for ad copies, landing pages, etc. and learning best practices across different asset types and channels
  • Developing analytical and project management skills, including proposing test ideas, collaborating with campaign and design teams to provide feedback, monitoring/updating content task statuses, etc.
  • Shadowing campaign content strategy meetings and brand brainstorming activities 
  • Supporting senior colleagues' content projects, including organizing data, creating content templates, preparing presentation decks, etc.

What You Need to Get the Job Done

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in the Humanities, Marketing, or Communications and are going into your senior year this fall
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills. You enjoy working closely with others
  • The motivation and drive to work independently in a remote environment
  • Strong organization skills with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities/deadlines at once
  • High-quality writing and editing skills
  • An ambitious desire to dive into the work through curiosity and an eagerness to learn 

CUSTOMER MARKETING INTERNSHIP

What You'll Do

The Customer Marketing team cares about our customers and we want to set them free to do great work! We’re looking for a Customer Marketing Intern to join the team as we continue to work towards this vision and focus on Customer Retention.

Your role as a key team member is crucial in driving customer retention through the optimization of the customer experience within our customer community. You'll have the responsibility of managing important projects that'll have a direct impact on customer retention. This includes supporting other team members in executing strategies to increase brand awareness and foster trust with our valued customers.

You will:

  • Develop and implement retention marketing strategies to increase customer loyalty and reduce churn.
  • Create and execute targeted marketing campaigns, including personalized content and offers, to engage and retain customers.
  • Analyze customer data and behavior to identify trends, preferences, and opportunities for retention initiatives.
  • Conduct customer segmentation analysis to identify high-value customer segments and develop tailored retention strategies for each segment.
  • Implement customer feedback mechanisms, such as surveys and feedback loops, to gather insights and improve the customer experience.

What You Need to Get the Job Done

  • Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Marketing or related degree (Business, Communications, English, Journalism, etc.) and are going into your senior year this fall
  • You are interested in pursuing a career in marketing
  • You are highly organized and attention to detail is your bread and butter
  • You have sharp written and verbal communication skills
  • You are a self-starter and can handle multiple projects at once
  • You have the ability to engage and communicate with customers in a positive and approachable way
  • You have strong critical thinking skills, you like to analyze data and tell a story from what you have learned
  • You are available full-time (M-F 8-5 pm)
