  1. Washington Seminar: Washington, DC internships with program support for students as they apply for internships, BYU housing in DC, generous grant funding for participants, and a credit package between 6 - 12 credit hours. Internships are available in a wide range of opportunities. Federal, law firms, lobbying firms, non-profits, arts organizations, journalism, NGOs, think tanks, governmental, language-based interests, etc. We are not exclusive to political science interests. Students interested in many areas of public service, non-profit work, business interests will all find great opportunities available.
  2. Utah State Legislature: Explore local opportunities in an internship with the Utah State Legislature, Utah's governing elected body. The state legislature is in session in Salt Lake City during Winter semester. Students intern one-on-one with an elected official and are paid a $4000 stipend with 5-14 credit hours attached to the program. This internship offers very useful skill development, professional exploration, and competency building for many majors.
