The University has approved on-site internships for fall semester as long as the internship provider and the intern sign additional paperwork before the internship begins. The department will continue to approve on-campus and remote internships as well. Talk to the internship coordinator if you have any questions (email@example.com).

As our intern, you will be responsible for writing and editing content for LDS Living magazine and LDSLiving.com. Everyday tasks will include writing, editing, interviewing, fact checking, content planning, and much more.
We’re looking for someone with fresh ideas and a positive attitude. We’re a small team working on some big projects, and we need someone who can jump in and do great things.
LDS Living magazine, a division of Deseret Book, is a bi-monthly magazine and daily online blog that aims to inform, entertain, and inspire. We address issues that are relevant to members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and celebrate our unique culture. We complement, rather than focus on, spiritual issues and strive to support the lifestyle and beliefs of our readers.
Applicants should be currently enrolled and working toward a degree in a related field or recently graduated. We welcome communications majors with an emphasis in journalism, English majors who have taken a copy-editing class, or those who have had substantial experience planning and running a successful blog. Knowledge of Chicago or AP styles is a plus. Must have excellent writing and communications skills and an interest in learning all facets of online content generation and the magazine publication process.
This is a paid internship opportunity ($10/hr) that requires around 40 hours per week during regular business hours for approximately four months, starting on September 8, 2020 and ending on December 18, 2020. Due to COVID-19 restrictions the internship may be done partially or entirely remotely, depending on circumstances.
