|What’s In It For You
As an Assessment Intern, you will get a taste of job-specific skills like project management, assessment administration, and data analysis. But we also want to show you what it’s like to work in the Organizational Development industry and how organizations create real change. We work with a variety of well-recognized and accomplished organizations, which means you’ll see bits and pieces of nearly every Organizational Development topic or issue that companies deal with. Our target audience for survey results presentations and reporting is our clients’ Executive-level leaders, which means you will get a chance to observe senior-level leaders receiving impactful feedback that directly affects how they run their companies. It doesn’t get better than that!
A Day In the Life
The DecisionWise Assessment Team provides our clients the data they need to help them know how they are performing when it comes to their people. We do this through survey and assessment administration and extensive data analysis. We do the number-crunching, and our clients’ leaders use our recommendations to promote better working environments, employee engagement, and individual performance.
You will be responsible for performing administrative, logistical, or coordination-related tasks as requested by the DecisionWise Assessment Team. These tasks will expose you to all parts of the assessment process and will contribute to the overall completion of the project. Typical tasks include:
Managing manual processing tasks such as preparing materials, printing, binding, and shipping
Scanning, processing, and data entry for paper surveys
Verifying the accuracy of data and numerical information included in client deliverables
Additional projects and tasks as required by the Assessment Team
That said, we work in a dynamic environment with constantly changing demands and processes. You may find yourself checking PowerPoint presentations, formatting documents, cleaning up electronic files, or learning a completely new task depending on what our clients need. We trust you to be proactive in helping us meet and exceed our clients’ expectations!
