Considerations: This position will be required to work evenings. This position requires the employee to have independent and reliable transportation to travel to community events in Park City and Salt Lake City.

Learning Goals/Objectives: Our UT Community Intern will learn how to plan and execute a community outreach program.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assists with planning and implementing our Summer Film Series.
  • Provides on site operational support during our summer film screenings.
  • Collaborates with the Volunteer Department to train, manage, and evaluate volunteers.
  • Compiles and organizes data and materials for grant evaluations.
  • Works with marketing team to draft promotional materials.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements:

Employee has legal authorization to work in the United States.


  • Office experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree or working towards degree in related field preferred.
  • Experience conducting community outreach at local events preferred.
  • Current Utah college or university student or Utah resident preferred.


  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Able to work with Microsoft Office and Google apps.
  • Self motivated, organized, and pays close attention to detail.
